Germany approves export of fifth submarine to Israel

Dolphin class SSKGermany's Federal Security Council approved the export of yet another submarine to Israel, according to a report in the German Süddeutsche Zeitung paper.

The vessel will be the fifth out of six Dolphin-class submarines that were promised to Israel.

A third of the cost of the new sub will be covered by Germany as part of its military aid to the Jewish state.
