India plans to put military pressure on Pakistan by deploying advanced aircraft in Punjab

Su-30MKIIndia has planned to put military pressure on Pakistan by deploying advanced fighter aircraft in Punjab close to Pakistan border.

To improve its strike capabilities against Pakistan, IAF will deploy Sukhois, fourth generation upgraded MiG-29 and air defence radars, IAF official said.

Two squadrons with 4.5-generation Sukhois will be operational at the Halwara fighter base near Ludhiana within two years from now.

Besides this, the upgraded fourth generation MiG-29 will also be based in Punjab at Adampur base.
