Next batch of on-order Mi-35M combat helicopters to arrive in Azerbaijan from Russia in March

Mi-35 HindAPA reports quoting the Russian newspapers that one of the Mi-35M helicopters produced in Rosvertol’s plant in Rostov-on-Don was tested last week. Other helicopters are still constructed.

Azerbaijan purchased 4 Mi-35M helicopters from Russia last December.

Mi-35 is a modernized version of Mi-24 designed for destroying armored vehicles. These helicopters, which have improved and stronger engines, could be also used for landing troops, fire support operations and evacuation of wounded soldiers.
