Norway funds dismantling of nuclear sub

The Norwegian government has allocated funding for the dismantling of another Russian nuclear submarine.

According to the government press service, the dismantling of the retired Northern Fleet vessel will be funded jointly by Norwegian and British authorities.

The submarine will be the last of five Russian vessels dismantled with Norwegian funding. A total of 23 million NOK (2,9 million EUR) will be allocated to the project.
