Brahmos internationally competitive

Brahmos missile, developed by the DRDO, is internationally competitive and is able to cater to alarge market with availability in time and state of the artperformance, Dr A Sivathanu Pillai, CEO, Brahmos Aerospace,said.

Delivering the special convocation address at the Satyabhama University here, he said the Bharhmos missile wasthe fastest operational cruise missile existing in the world today and could be launched from land, air or sea to precisely reach the target with high lethal effect.

The product had been developed with a minimum incremental investment of 250 million US dollars and led to production and induction at a relatively shorter time frame, ahead of prescribed schedule, he said.
