Iran claims to shoot down US drone


According to state in television in Iran, a US drone has been shot down over the eastern part of the country.

The Iranian military claims to now have possession of the unmanned American spy plane named as an RQ10 model, after bringing it down with minimal damage.

A report on Iranian station Press TV stated: "Military sources say with this is clear violation of Iran's air space. The electronic operations of the Iranian armed forces to locate enemy aerial vehicles will not be limited to the country's borders anymore."
