Lockheed Martin Delivers Last Amp C-5 To USAF

[C-5M Super Galaxy]Lockheed Martin has completed delivery of the 79th and final C-5 Galaxy aircraft of the current Avionics Modernization Program at a ceremony at Travis Air Force Base, Calif., on April 27.

"We are very proud of our AMP team," said Greg Ulmer, vice president of the C-5 program, "This delivery continues the ever-growing legacy of the C-5 Galaxy and the critical role it plays in supporting the warfighter across the globe for many years to come."

Aircraft 70-448 will be assigned to the Air Force Reserve 433rd Airlift Wing at Lackland AFB in San Antonio, Texas.

    Do you have a source you use to gather your OSINT on the US military? I think Jane's defense is a great source for this kind of thing, but was wondering where you obtained some of your info!

    Mostly Google News and a feedreader following manufacturers. Customized search engines ara helpful as well. (In the sidebar you can see some of them)
