Iran unveils new ballistic missile

Fateh 313 missileIran has unveiled a new home-made ballistic missile with high accuracy during a ceremony attended by the Islamic Republic President Hassan Rouhani.

The new missile dubbed “Fateh 313” is a solid-propellant short-range missile, produced by the country’s Aerospace Industries Organization, the official IRIB news agency reported Aug. 22.

The missile is an optimized model of the "Fateh" series missiles with a 500 kilometers range and high precision against point targets.
