The U.S. has never provided Russia with secret information concerning the deployment of its missile shield elements in Europe, a high-ranking U.S. Department of State official told RIA Novosti on Thursday.“No classified missile defense information was provided to Russia,” the source said.
Earlier this month media reports said that the United States allegedly planned to share with Russia unspecified “secret data,” presumably on the SM-3 rocket, which is to become the staple interceptor rocket of the U.S. missile shield by 2020.
