Bow of final destroyer arrives on the Clyde

The bow section for the last of six Type 45 destroyers to be built on the Clyde for the Ministry of Defence has arrived in Glasgow.

The part, for the warship Duncan, was transported by ocean barge 500 miles from Portsmouth to BVT Surface Fleet's facility in Govan.

The bow, which was brought north with the ship's mast, arrived just two weeks after the fourth Type 45, Dragon, was launched from the shipyard.
