Iran procured BQM-74 and MQM-107 target drones from the US in the 1970s during the reign of the Shah. I would rather speculate on Iran being the source for the US target drones delivered to North Korea. With the medium advanced technology of aircraft production and development Iran has acquired through the decades, it is possible to share this knowledge with its strategic parter against the US military supremacy.
