Iran to unveil new cruise missiles

JamaranThe Iranian Defense Ministry has announced plans to unveil the next generation of its long-range cruise missiles later in the month.

The deputy head of the Industry and Research Institute of the Iranian Defense Ministry, Mohammad Eslami, said the projectiles are to be unveiled on August 22 on the o occasion of the national “Day of Defense Industry,” ISNA reported on Saturday.

“The [new] missile has a longer reach compared to previous cruise missiles,” Eslami added.
