India's navy showcases rescue skills, fire power

Talwar class frigateCelebrating Navy Week, the personnel of the INS Rana, a guided missile destroyer from the Eastern Fleet of the Indian Navy, demonstrated naval exercise off coast on Sunday for the family members of the armed forces.

The frontline warship, which is the second of the five Rajput class destroyers, arrived on a two-day visit at the Chennai port on Saturday from Vishakapatnam.

Over 1,300 college and school students got a glimpse of the 5000-ton naval ship besides interacting with the personnel onboard.
