Thales Eyeing UAE Expansion

Kortenaer class frigateThe French company’s business in the Middle East region, including India, accounts for 10 per cent of its total global turnover of nearly €13 billion.

The company has posted about 2,000 people in the Middle East, 500 of which are in the UAE, that is currently its regional hub servicing the whole of GCC countries, Olivier Badard, the President of the Thales International Middle East told the media on Sunday.

“It is difficult to give a break-up on the share of the UAE in the total volume of business. But it runs into several million euros.
