Indigenous construction of F-22 P Frigate gets underway

PNS ZulfiquarThe construction work of first F-22 P Frigate being indigenously constructed for Pakistan Navy, is getting underway at Karachi Shipyard and Engineering Works (KSEW) on Thursday.

An ISPR (Navy) press release here on Wednesday said that the ship is the fourth of the series of Frigates being constructed in collaboration with China, under the contract of Transfer of Technology.

It said that the indigenous construction of Frigate is another significant milestone towards self-reliance in defence production.
