KD Gempita launches missile in straits of Melaka

MM-38 Exocet ImpactThe Royal Malaysian Navy (RMN) today launched a EXOCET MM38 missile from its Sweden-manufactured Fast Attack Craft Missile, KD Gempita.

A statement issued by RMN here stated that the missile was launched under the command of Lt. Commander Md Zaman Hassan at 10.30am in the Straits of Melaka.

"It hit its target and the impact destroyed four containers," it said.
