Iran denies buying missiles from Russia

Iran is denying rumors that it has bought Russia's advanced S-300 anti-aircraft missile system. Israel has said Iran could take delivery of the missile system by the end of the year.

Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesman told reporters in Tehran that all missiles demonstrated so far are the result of Iranian scientific work.

Experts say any strike by Israel or the US on Iran's nuclear sites would be difficult if Tehran acquires S-300 missile batteries.
