Queen Modjadji 1 receives hero's welcome

The last of the three submarines acquired by the South African Navy, Queen Modjadji 1 on Thursday received a hero's welcome upon her arrival in Simons Town, Cape Town.

Queen Modjadji 1 is the last of the three submarines acquired by the South African Government as part of the Strategic Defence Package.

With her arrival, the military capacity and competency of the Department of Defence to defend the country and the people of South Africa and providing the country's foreign policy will reach yet another milestone.
