Two strategic Russian bombers Bear by NATO classification fly patrol mission over Atlantic

Two strategic Russian bombers Tu-95 (Bear by NATO classification) are flying a patrol mission over the Atlantic.

According to the Russian Air Force spokesman, Colonel Alexander Drobyshevsky, two Tu-95 missile-carrying bombers and two Ilyushin-78 tanker planes are flying a routine mission over the Atlantic Ocean on Wednesday.

“All flights by the Russian Air Force planes have been in strict compliance with the international rules of using air space over neutral waters, without any violations of other countries’ borders,” the official said.
