Saab to spend 10 bln dkr in Denmark if it choses Gripen fighter

Saab AB said it will spend 10 bln dkr on buying Danish products and investing in Danish development programmes over 10-15 years, if the country chooses its Gripen fighter.

Over the next few years Denmark will renew its aircraft fleet and the deal could cover as many as 48 fighter aircraft.

Saab is offering Denmark its fully Nato compatible aircraft Gripen Next Generation fighter which is now under development. The aircraft can be delivered to Denmark from 2016 or earlier, Saab said.
