Nova Scotia's premier says he's concerned that National Defence might not upgrade its maritime patrol planes.The department has postponed a decision on whether to continue with major improvements to its fleet of CP-140s until after Parliament rises for the Christmas holidays.
Critics have said the deferral is an attempt to bury what's expected to be a bad news announcement for Defence Minister Peter MacKay, who also represents Nova Scotia in cabinet.
