The Australian Army has taken possession of two new helicopters it says will allow troops to fly safely at night and in poor weather.The MRH 90 choppers, each worth about $50 million, were handed over to the Army and Navy at a ceremony in Brisbane this morning.
Army Aviation Assistance director-general Brigadier Andrew Dudgeon says they are the first of 46 multi-role helicopters to replace the Sea King and Black Hawk chopper fleets.
