EADS radar system demonstrates high performance in network-centric operations during NATO exercise “Elite 2007”

Free Image Hosting at www.ImageShack.usThe TRML-3D radar system developed by EADS Defence & Security has provided proof of its high performance capability in network-centric operations during the NATO exercise “Elite 2007” in southern Germany.

Two TRML systems were used in this exercise as part of the Dutch air defence system FGBADS.

The two TRML systems were integrated into the complete command chain from sensor to weapon system.

The evaluation of the course of the exercise now showed the high performance capability of the system when deployed on a mobile and networked basis.
