
Final tests of the Tipchak unmanned aerial reconnaissance system for Russian rocket forces and army artillery are nearing completion, and the system will be supplied to the troops by the end of this year, Rybinsk-based Luch Design Bureau General Director Stanislav Alexeyev told Arms-Tass.
Luch is a component of the Vega Concern, which is building a family of unmanned aircraft for the Russian Defense Ministry.
“The Tipchak system will assist artillery reconnaissance and supply target coordinates in the real-time mode,” Alexeyev said.
