Russian Jet Test Gets Flying Colors

Mig-31 FoxbatThe successful MIG-31 jet fighter test broadened Russian perspectives to increase its defensive power, affirmed sources from the Ministry of Defense.

The main version of this fighter-bomber has notable power with exceptional characteristics, due mostly to its D-30F6 engine designed by Aviadvigatel enterprise, added the press note from Kremlin defensive system.

The Air Force continues working to improve the characteristics of the new spacecraft installed in the MIG-31 current version.

This modern aircraft will increase Antiaircraft Defense fighting capacity, assured the chief of the Russian Air Force Vladimir Mijailov.
