MacArtney Underwater Technology has been contracted to supply SubConn underwater connectivity solutions to the French, Italian and Moroccan navies, for use in their frégate européen multi-mission (FREMM) frigates.The company has designed the connectivity solutions in collaboration with naval defence technology contractors, Thales and WASS.
Under the contract MacArtney will provide the 'inboard' lead-in cables running from the sonar dome to a central hub within the hull of the ship.
