Global SONAR market: UK Navy announces increased spending on SONAR systems and electronic warfare technology

Sonar equipmentThe British Navy has announced its plans to increase spending on ships and weapons systems over the next 10 years.

The planned spend profile over the next 10 years for the Ships Operating Centre has increased slightly, with growth the result of many small changes across what is a wide and diverse portfolio of programmes and projects.

The plans form part of the Defence Equipment Plan 2014, set out before parliament in January.
