Iran marks Army Day
Marking the establishment of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s Army; Different units from the armed forces of the Iranian army have held nationwide military parades to mark the national Army Day.
The annual event provides an opportunity to showcase the latest weaponry and military hardware developed domestically.
During the parades, the Iranian armed forces displayed different weapons and military tools and equipment, including different kinds of fighters, helicopters, drones, different types of missiles, tactical and armed vehicles, surface and underwater vessels, electronic and telecommunication equipment, light and mid-light weapons, different kinds of artillery and mortar-launchers and air defense systems.
