HS: Finland to splurge 90 million on US Stinger missiles

StingerAccording to Helsingin Sanomat, Finland plans to purchase hundreds of Stinger anti-air missiles from the United States.

The mainstream daily Helsingin Sanomat reports that Defence Minister Carl Haglund announced a 90-million euro defence acquisition in Washington Thursday.

The paper reported that Finnish Defence Minister Carl Haglund announced the 90-million euro deal during talks with US Secretary of Defence Chuck Hagel.
