First test launch of supersonic Brahmos missiles by end 2014

Airlaunched BrahMosThe Indian Air Force has chosen the Sukhoi-30 fighter jets as the platform for mounting the supersonic BrahMos missiles.

The Managing Director and Chief Executive of BrahMos Aerospace, A. Sivathanu Pillai, has said that the first test launch of the air version of the supersonic Brahmos missile will take place by the end of 2014.

The Indian Air Force has chosen the Sukhoi-30 fighter jets as the platform for mounting the supersonic BrahMos missiles.
