Russia, Morocco Pledge Stronger Military Ties

[Tunguska (SA-19 Grison)]Russia and Morocco have agreed to strengthen bilateral military-technical cooperation, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said on Wednesday.

"Agreements on military-technical cooperation were signed between Russia and Morocco in February 2012, and we pledged [today] to strengthen this aspect of our cooperation," Lavrov said at a press conference in Moscow after talks with his Moroccan counterpart Saad-Eddine Al-Othmani.

The Russian foreign minister did not disclose the details of the talks on the subject.
