Israel Aerospace Industries Awarded New Contracts Totaling $106 Million

[AD STAR radar system]Israel Aerospace Industries' (IAI) division and subsidiary ELTA systems Ltd., has signed a series of new orders for supplying its 3D fire control radars, SATCOM network system, AD-STAR radar systems and its tactical short range air defense radar. Contracts total worth is $106 million.

ELTA systems Ltd. was awarded $39 million contract for supplying a foreign customer high-performance 3D Fire Control Radars for its ground-based Surface-to-Air (SA) defense weapon systems.

The Fire Control Radar, manufactured by ELTA Systems, IAI's group and subsidiary, detects tracks and identifies high maneuvering targets such as fighter aircraft and various missiles.
