DCNS delivered the fourth Skjold FPB to Norwegian Navy

Skjold class corvetteOn March 29th 2012, DCNS delivered the fourth-of-class fast patrol boat (FPB) P964-Glimt to the Royal Norwegian Navy.

The six-boat Skjold program is led by a consortium comprising DCNS and two Norwegian contractors with DCNS acting as the combat system design authority and co-supplier.

The Norwegian authorities entrusted the Skjold program to a consortium of three contractors with DCNS as the combat system design authority and co-supplier.
