LMT Upgrading F-22's in $7.4B Deal

F-22 RaptorDefense contractor, Lockheed Martin Corporation has received a contract worth $7.4 billion from the Department of Defense (“DoD”) for system upgrade of the Air Force's F-22 Raptor fighter jet.

Under the deal, Lockheed Martin will be asked to work on a variety of tasks that include developing upgrades, incorporating new requirements, adding capabilities and improving the performance of the F-22 weapon system.
