Iran: Barvar-373 more advanced than Russian S-300 missile defense system

Bavar-737Iran's domestic Bavar-373 missile defense system is more advanced than Russian S-300, IRNA quoted Executive Deputy Head of Khatam al-Anbia Air Defence Base Gen.Shahrokh Shahram on Saturday as saying.

"Designing of Bavar-373 defense system is completed and we have achieved good result," he said.

Iranian Mehr News Agency reported today quoting Planning and Programming Deputy Head of Khatam al-Anbia Air Defence Base that Bavar-373 system is able to attack at long-range, mid-range and short-range targets.
