DGA delivers final upgraded AWACS to French AF

E-3F AWACSThe French Air Force has received the final upgraded E-3F AWACS radar plane communications system from the Directorate General for Armaments (DGA).

According to French MoD, the 4th upgraded AWACS was delivered to the Air Force on October 7, 2011.

French AWACS is known as true "sentinel fly", and these aircraft are dedicated to the detection, monitoring, control and conduct of military air operations.
