Naval show at West PH Sea

Gepard 3.9 classKalayaan Mayor Eugenio Bito-on Jr., of Palawan, takes a front seat in a show of force involving the latest warships in the renamed South China Sea.

He could only marvel at military vessels with alien flags sailing at will in the vicinity of his town composed of five islets and two sand bars some 300 nautical miles from Puerto Princesa, Palawan.

“We have become used to them,” Bito-on said in the posting. “Their ships are amazing.”
