HMS Ark Royal listed for sale online at edisposals.com

Ark Royal for saleThis is the fate of the Navy’s former flagship HMS Ark Royal... potential buyers are just a click away from buying her online.

Thanks to the Coalition’s defence cuts, the ship is listed alongside combat trousers and flak jackets on ­edisposals.com.

The Invincible Class light aircraft carrier, which sailed the oceans for a quarter of a century, does not have an asking price but buyers will have to stump up millions to land the 10,000-tonne warship.
