The Islamic Republic of Iran Air Force (IRIAF ) says the country has successfully tested the research model of a radar evading aircraft known as Sofreh Mahi (flatfish).
“The research model of Sofreh Mahi with the scale of one to six has successfully passed all radar evading tests and an actual size aircraft will be manufactured in the near future,” IRIAF Commander Brigadier General Hassan Shah-Safi told Mehr News Agency on Monday.
Shah-Safi hailed the march of progress at IRIAF, saying, “What we most care about is military preparedness and we are ready to counter the enemies of the Islamic Republic at any moment.”
