Su-25UBM made its maiden flight

The Su-25UBM prototype combat trainer ground attack aircraft build by Ulan-Ude Aviation Plant made its first test flight in Cubinka, Moscow region on 6th December.

The flight of Su-25UBM with upgraded on-board equipment continues for 35 minutes and starts the initial phase of combat machine's flight testing.

To the end of this year the first prototype of Su-25UBM should be handed over for performing the state integration test that is supposed to be finished in 2009.

The state integration test of the second test prototype of Su-25UBM starts next year.
