Camcopter completes trials with Austrian Army

The CAMCOPTER® S-100 VTOL UAS again proves its capability with the Austrian Army.

At the request of the Austrian Ministry of Defense and in cooperation with the Land Forces School, the CAMCOPTER® S-100 VTOL Unmanned Aerial Vehicle System (UAS) was tested for four days in early December 2008 in the military training area at Allentsteig north of Vienna.

General routine test flights were conducted on the system throughout its flight envelope and its tactical operational use was practiced in a field exercise in support of the army.
