Lockheed Martin's Halifax class frigate modernization team demonstrates advanced command and control system

A Lockheed Martin led industry team today unveiled the Canadian Advanced Command and Control System (CanACCS-9LV) and demonstrated the team’s readiness to lead the combat systems integration element of the Canadian Navy’s Halifax Class Modernization Program, which will upgrade the nation’s 12 multi-mission frigates.

The proposed Saab-Lockheed Martin CanACCS-9LV system will provide the Canadian Navy’s Halifax fleet with advanced capabilities, including proven Enhanced Sea Sparrow Missile anti-ship missile defense capabilities.

The two companies have worked together for more than two years to ensure the successful integration of Saab’s 9LV system with proven and deployed Canadian Navy command and control systems.
