Indian navy to induct 'Admiral Gorshkov'

Free Image Hosting at www.ImageShack.usThe Naval chief, Admiral Sureesh Mehta, has said that Russian aircraft carrier 'Admiral Gorshkov' will be inducted into the Indian Navy later this year.

"We are inducting Gorshakv by the later part of the next year," the Chief of Naval Staff told reporters. He was attending the passing out parade at the Indian Military Academy (IMA) here.

The Russian aircraft carrier 'Gorshkov' has a sea endurance of 30 days. It has a capacity to carry more than 2,000 sailors.
