Private sector gaining more access to China defense


The Chinese government has decided to give more access to private companies in its huge, lucrative arms sector. The aim is to improve competition and innovation for the defense industry.

The new policy will encourage more private non-state owned companies to develop and produce weapons and other military equipment to boost military capabilities.

CCTV’s Han Bin found out this and more as he visited one private company in Beijing and filed this report.
