Pakistan, Russian sign attack helicopter deal

Mi-35 HindPakistan and Russia have signed a deal for four Mi-35M combat helicopters to be used in the war against terror, a media report said Thursday.

The Mi-35M boasts enhanced flight capabilities, and can be operated at high temperatures and in mountainous terrain, Xinhua reported quoting a Pakistan television report that quoted unnamed military sources.

Pakistan and Russia had been involved in talks over the past one year to finalize the deal, sources said.
