Indonesia executions hit Brazil defence deal

A-29 Super TucanoIndonesia is reconsidering the purchase of military hardware from Brazil amid a diplomatic row over executions of convicted Brazilian drug traffickers, local media reports say.

Indonesia recalled its ambassador-designate to Brazil last week after President Dilma Rousseff refused to accept his credentials.

Australia has also clashed with Jakarta this month over the planned execution of two of its citizens for drug smuggling.
