Germany to Send Advanced Weapons to Peshmerga

MBDA's MILAN ERThe German government continues its militarily support of the Peshmerga forces in the fight against Islamic State.

According to a statement from the German ministry of defense, the Berlin government will send weapons and ammunition worth €13 million to Kurdish forces.

The new cache will include 30 anti-Tank MILAN missiles, 300 mortars and over 200 RPG launchers. Also in the shipment are 4,000 small guns, 6 million bullets, 10,000 grenades, 10 armored vehicles, medical equipment and military uniforms.
