The political debate over who will build Australia's next generation of submarines has had an upside, says Prime Minister Tony Abbott.The government is seeking options on how to replace the fleet of six Collins class submarines, due to be retired around 2030.
Labor says Mr Abbott has broken an election promise to build the submarines in Adelaide and argues Australian shipbuilder ASC can do the job.
