Workshop phase of submarine Vladikavkaz repair completed at Zvesdochka shipyard

RFS VladikavkazDiesel-electric submarine Vladikavkaz of Project 877 Paltus (Kilo class) was pulled out of Zvesdochka shipyard’s workshop on September 19, 2014, the shipyard says in its press release.

The submarine was delivered to the shipyard for repair and modernization in 2008. The state contract for submarine repair was signed in 2011.

Having been floated out the submarine will undergo fitting, then mooring tests in late 2014. In early summer 2015, the submarine will undergo manufacture’s sea trials in the White Sea.
