Russian navy to resume testing in Bulava missile program

Bulava test launchThe Russian navy recently announced its plans to resume test launches of intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBMs) as early as summer as part of its sea-based Bulava program.

“First, after last year’s failure start, Bulava will be made tentatively in September,” a Russian defense industry source said, according to Ekburg.ru. “It is unclear to what will be done missile ICBM.”

The Bulava program was started in 2004 and has launched 19 rockets to date.
